Baldi's Basics Chapter 2 Remastered
A downloadable mod for Windows and Linux
Today's the return of Baldi's hide-and-seek shenanigans…
Baldi's Basics Chapter 2 Remastered is a scarier hide-and-seek stealth game that halfway parodies the same '90s edutainment games, but something's missing here…
Your goal in this game is to collect 7 red notebooks and escape the school once more! What do you think will go wrong?
Experience some “scary” situations!
Baldi's Basics Chapter 2 Remastered is also a redesigned version of BA101's mod: “Baldi's Basics Chapter 2”. Some characters may be familiar, some may be different! You Can Think Pads are no more, and you are now forced to face Code Generator Gadgets, which contain Algebra expressions, and more! What do you think makes up the glitches? Do you think your theory on this corruption is worth your time?
1.1 Pre-release is now out! Unfortunately, its release time was delayed so it was uploaded on November 20 at 12:15 PM e.s.t. So, when the full release of the update is out, we'll guarantee the added ability to donate at that release. There is only 1 screenshot put here because the new version is still in development, but it's just that this is an example screenshot for the final version. Remember, these 5 old builds of this game will be removed once the official 1.1 update is out.

Frequently Asked Questions!
“What does this game do usually?”
“Not much usually. The only problem is, in the pre-release version, it crashes rarely. It'll be fixed sometime.”
“Do you plan on making an Android build of this game?”
“Yes, but I must not use a piece of programming from the original game if I want to do this.”
“Is this a sequel of the original game?”
“No, this is a trequel or a threequel of the original game. It is also a sequel of the Baldi's Basics Birthday Bash, because Birthday Bash functions like a sequel of Classic when it's not an exact sequel even though its release date takes place in 2019 instead of 2018. It's also because this mod contains events that are caused by a candle ritual in the Birthday Bash ending. This game is not supposed to make sense all the time, and that's the way it should be.”

Install instructions
1.1 Pre-release is now out, but we'll still re-add these instructions when 1.1 release is complete, started off based on the pre-release. For now, please follow these steps to install the mod:
- On Windows, download any version of the game, supported for the operating system and extract the files.
- [WARNING! DO NOT DO THIS ON A SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK AS FOR MODS LIKE THESE AND MY OTHER STUFF MAY NOT BE AGE-APPROPRIATE.] On Linux, download the “BALDI_CH2_Final_Linux.zip” file. Next, unzip the files using this following command:
unzip BALDI_CH2_Final_Linux.zip
All Linux commands:
Terminal Part 1
unzip BALDI_CH2_Final_Linux.zip
mv Linux BaldiHorror
ls -l
Take a break...
Remove the apostrophes (') from the file name.
Remove the apostrophes (') from the folder name (the one that ends with "_Data").
Terminal Part 2
chmod 777 BaldisBasicsCh2Remastered_Linux.x86_64
./BaldiHorror/BaldisBasicsCh2Remastered_Linux.x86_64 --disable-gpu-vsync
sudo apt install kmenuedit
kmenuedit
Lastly, add a shortcut for Baldi's Basics Chapter 2 Remastered and locate your .x86_64 file and click open! Oh yeah, can't forget one more thing: naming the shortcut! This game is called "Baldi's Basics Chapter 2 Remastered" so name it that!
Remember on Chromebooks, the process is similar except you have to install Linux apps on the ChromeOS machine so you can access a Linux terminal.

report bug
I will upload a new update very soon around in the summer! I don't mean immediately now, but I mean later on in June, or possibly in July! For now, here are some tips:
And that's all the tips I wanted to give you! Hopefully they're helpful with these versions. Remember, once the next update's out, the 5 old builds will be removed.

What did you do?

I now know that he is a GameJolt user because I looked him up before. But which of his actions did you repeat? (This means how many you have copied.)

Edit: I’m sorry, I—
Wait, what? How is it possible to do that many things? That’s just odd. You know what? I’m just going to ask a different question.
What’s something you know he has done? (Something that he has done that you repeated!)
