Unstable Version 1.1 Build 3 Is Available Now!


Hello!

BBCRD unstable build 3 is out now, and it just feels like an achievement in this game's development! You may feel like the game is different compared to days ago, when unstable build 1 came out. Years ago, this mod was something else. Now, this mod actually becomes a high-quality mod for once, when it got updated. What you are going to see the update after unstable 4 is improvements and fixes to major things, like captions, voice lines, and other general functionality. Unstable 6 will do the same thing but is an unstable version of another update, which we'll talk about next. Unstable 666 is the official devil's update (and last update), which makes it so if you play the game at 3:00 A.M., another mode triggers, which I won't spoil yet.

Now, onto the changelog.

Changes and Additions

  • Added a sound to using a swinging door lock on a swinging door. (Not really, because look at the known issues list!)
  • Changed one of the control bindings from KeyCode.E to KeyCode.I. To interact with something, instead of pressing E, press I.
  • Door audio now pauses.
  • Doors now lock whenever detention timers appear.
    • Thanks to this change, Principal's Keys are now usable, which makes it harder to escape detention.
  • Added a sound to when you collect an exit.
  • Baldi (if still talking) now cuts his line off if Spoop Mode occurs during a game. This is similar to what Baldi does in Classic Remastered, except in Classic Remastered, there is Tutor Baldi and Original Baldi, which involves some captions to not work as intended. In this version of the game, they now work as intended.
  • Finished the secret ending and adjusted the saintza4 credits one more time so it's up to date.

Fixes

  • Fixed the inventory issues except the masking issues, which I will deal with in the next update (for realzies this time!).
  • Fixed It's a Bully not talking. This was due to two GameObject "Bully Audio" variants of a non-prefabricated object I forgot to make into an asset, which happened to first be disabled, then duplicated. Then the first object was used for the GameControllerScript and then the other GameObject was used for the BullyScript, which was disabled, thus all of this making It's a Bully not talk.
  • Fixed a minor glitch that makes it so you can skip an extra jump after pausing the last frame of a jump.
  • Fixed the jump-rope continuing to move after 5 jumps. The jump-rope now stops at 5 jumps.
  • Corrected the NavMesh.
  • Corrected the number of failed notebooks from 1 to 8 so that you are to get them wrong every time you want to get the secret ending.

Known Issues

  • Sometimes Playtime can go inside the player's collider during the whole jump-rope mode session.
  • Some audio does not pause.
  • The win screen for the demo does not close the game.
  • The secret ending is not finished.
  • The design of the pause screen hasn't been... "figured out."
  • Audio is not propagated.
  • The hang of the learn music (Everybody's Favorite Subject) is not correct.
  • Some captions are missing.
  • The secret ending is STILL not finished.
  • The secret ending does not save your items.
  • The inventory does not consistently update the selected item slot. (Unity)
  • It is possible to make Baldi slap on the very last frame of Baldi's slap waiting time if you paused.
  • The You Can Think Pad does not scale up and down constantly. It just stays the same size.
